Betty
McFarlane
Betty has worked for Jones Funeral Home since 2012, starting as a receptionist and hostess on a most auspicious day – Friday the 13th – a day she considers a good omen as it’s led her to a rewarding life and career in service to a community she loves. A decade later, she joined the team as a full-time Funeral Director Assistant and continues to provide caring comfort for those who are grieving. Betty feels privileged to be a part of life’s journey and is dedicated to ensuring these moments are as meaningful and joyful as they can be.
A lifelong resident of Halton Hills, Betty was born and raised in Glen Williams and now lives in Georgetown with her husband, Jack. Outside work, Betty enjoys decorating, gardening, cheering on her team—the Toronto Blue Jays—and spending time with her daughters, son-in-law, and two granddaughters.
